Description
Do you often find yourself wondering: “Why don’t my kids listen to me??” Are you exhausted battling with your kids over homework, chores, bedtime, etc.? Are you tired of whining, complaining and tantrums? Do you find yourself yelling more often than not? Are you tired of getting into power struggles with your children? Are you just plain TIRED?!?
Positive Discipline is based on mutual respect and cooperation. Positive Discipline incorporates kindness AND firmness as the foundation for teaching invaluable life skills. You will learn the foundations of the Positive Discipline model, tools for understanding your children's behaviors and how to managing these daily frustrations with your children in positive and effective ways, and how to help your children develop long-term skills that will help them be respectful, responsible and resourceful members of your family and the community.

Julianne is Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and skilled parent coach. She has over 10 years of experience working with children, adolescents and families. Julianne is a former teacher, a current school counselor and a mom. Julianne has a passion for working with children and families, specifically supporting parents in navigating the many challenges that come along with raising children. Julianne has extensive experience working in schools and supporting children (and their parents) with learning challenges, ADHD, anxiety, behavioral challenges and other everyday challenges that arise. Julianne has a special interest in working with new parents and parents of preschoolers, supporting them in navigating those extraordinary years of early childhood.
Julianne is a Certified Positive Discipline© Parent Educator and Certified Positive Discipline© Classroom Educator. Julianne offers workshops, support groups, and one-on-one consultation. She strongly believes that, with support and tools, families can work through obstacles and challenges and find joy in raising their children.
